Fellow musicians and composers/arrangers! If you have ever considered writing or arranging for saxophone quartet you will need some sort of guide to help you familiarize yourself with the saxophone and the saxophone quartet. Lenoir Saxophone Ensemble is always in search of new works to help promote and preserve the world of saxophone music, and, through the LSE Neuewerks program, we hope to assist some in that quest. And, thanks to the assistance of local arts council funding we are able to commission composers to write new compositions for the quartet. If you have any questions you may contact either David or Michael with your inquiry. Both are trained in arranging and composition and may be able to help solve your problem. Scores submitted to the Lenoir Saxophone Ensemble Neuewerks program are not guaranteed acceptance. You may feel free to send compositions for review. With proper mailing information we will return scores upon request.
